Community Partnership Fund Recipients

St John De LaSalle church reached out to Legislator McKimmie, requesting assistance in purchasing an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Legislator McKimmie was able to secure the funds for the church.

Niagara County Legislator Christopher McKimmie secured $3,500 in Community Partnership Funds to purchase automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for the Niagara Falls Police Athletic League (PAL). 

Legislator McKimmie secured funding for Niagara Active Hose, the Town of Niagara’s only volunteer fire company, to assist with their emergency services mission.

Legislator McKimmie was able to secure funding to support Music Mania Mondays at the Town of Niagara’s Veterans Park.

Legislator McKimmie helped secure funding for the St. John de LaSalle Community Care Food Pantry from the Niagara County Legislature. These funds will help feed the more than 3,200 families that rely on Lynn and her team to supplement their nutrition. An increase from 2,400 families in 2022, Lynn is doing more with less.

Legislator McKimmie helped support Cayuga Youth Athletic Association with $4,000 in funding from the Niagara County Legislature to help with the installation of a new scoreboard at their athletic fields. We are fortunate to have one of the best youth baseball & softball programs right here in LaSalle.

Legislator McKimmie helped support the American Legion’s LaSalle Post 1142 with funding from the community partnership fund.

Legislator McKimmie helped secure funding for the Niagara Beautification Commission to help keep Niagara Falls clean.

Legislator McKimmie helped support and secure funding for Camp Happiness. A traditional one-week day camp experience for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities from Niagara County.

Legislator McKimmie helped support and secure funding for the LaSalle branch of the Niagara Falls Public Library, specifically for children’s programs. 

Legislator McKimmie presented a check from the County’s community partnership fund to Dan Colpoys, the Executive Director of the Mental Health Association in Niagara County, to assist with their programming.

The Mental Health Association in Niagara County offer’s free and low-cost programs that promote mental wellness, provide needed services for those with a mental health diagnosis, and actively work to alleviate the stigma and public misunderstanding of mental illness.

Legislator McKimmie helped support and secure funding to support National Crime Night Out in the City of Niagara Falls.
